never existed but in the labyrinth of her head:
a patchwork composition of beautiful, lengthy words
she’d heard in her catatonic state; coma living
day in and day out, reliant on the salvation
of a man made of foreign wishing
and imperfection and necessity – an ignorance
of the less than ideal perception of self she’d
come to fear, absention stained romantic to the point
where daydreams were a standard for survival

Falling off the EdgeDo you know what it feels like?
To nearly fall off the edge,
but not quite...
just so that you're dangling;
clinging for your worthless life
lest it fall into the sea of loneliness.
Your callused, pink fingers turning
to a shade of purplish-red of pain
as it does it best to hold on.

In the sea of loneliness,
everything is crisp, translucent.
There is nothing around you,
you are alone...
unlike other people,
you have no one
clamouring to save you;
you have no one
diving in to get you out.

There is no point
screaming for help,
you will only waste
the little time and air you have left.
You only have the darkness
of the sea envelop

atop Africas and South Atlantics;

this is one situation unaffected by
ember eyes and windy lashes
(it has no anatomy).

You are sparrows stranded
in tiny crevices and cliffside love,
though you rebuke flight
in the fear of chipping feathers.

coveting flight with shaking
dainty arms…

and perhaps I’ll let you:
With flytrap lips and
glass shaped hips…
you are unfit for anything but
sight.

and she realized the truth
with a feeling of dread.

No one wanted her.
No one cared.

with the the love you shared.

So she said good-bye,
and you watched her leave.
She may have had the rope,
but now you can't breathe.

Nevaeh Pt 10The concrete sidewalk sang its tune of despair. Lights offering nothing for solace. The city was alive with smells, sounds and heartbeats. Riley was close. I could smell him but I decide to keep my distance for a bit. I watched him walk with his head down. I could hear his thoughts of forgetting everything. His sadness was so intoxicating, it seem to dance around me.

In the distance was a club bustling with life. Music was pouring into the night making any species want to be part of its ambience. I quickly ran up to him. He lit up and then I could see he had drowned in a bottle.

"Let's have some fun tonight." I begged in a commanding order.

Unhappy birthday to meThe grain of time,
slipping into the wavering hour.
Life ceasing as I age,
another year has passed
Yet time,
doesn't take toll on my preserved decay.

Pain striking my heart
with pelting memories of "once was"
Agonizing screams,
ravaging my ear.

Abominating love of the face I see
a constant reminder of she.

Surrounded but raging clouds of turmoil.

My bright colors melding into each prism.
Plastered against the ever growing black and gray.

The bowels of hell rising stealing my color
Replacing them in overlapping darkness.

Nothing will be left with its done!

Except I will try to chase the sun
While staying in the shadows of my tortured soul.
